Message from the Director of Graduate Studies |
| The graduate program continues to flourish. The graduate students provide a truly international group. Through a creative mix of funding resources, we supported 32 students this year, the most ever in the history of the department. An attractive, updated Graduate Brochure, providing information about the department, the graduate program, and application material is available. We continue to offer a very vibrant and modern set of courses exposing our students to the most exciting and active research areas in the field. The job market in statistics remains excellent. We have 100% placement for all students earning degrees. Some of our Masters students receive job offers one or two semesters before graduation. |

Message from the Director of Undergraduate Studies |
| Our undergraduate program continues to grow. More students are keen to major in Statistics or Mathematics/Statistics and also on continuing with graduate studies in Statistics. Our department has a good placement record in terms of graduate school for our majors. STAT 294 (Field Study Internship) and STAT 296 (Undergraduate Research) attract our body of students and expose them to many interesting aspects of the field. |
