Pfizer Global Research & Development Student Fellowship Program

| Wangang Xie will be a Student Fellow supporting Clinical Statistics of the Infectious Disease Therapeutic Area (IDTA) for Pfizer Inc. He is currently a Ph.D. student under the joint supervision of Professors Ming-Hui Chen and Lynn Kuo at the Department of Statistics of University of Connecticut. Wangang was a Pfizer intern in the summer of 2007. In the 2007 summer, Wangang worked with Cunshan Wang, Helen Fan, and Katey Durham of Pfizer Global Research & Development in supporting their ID projects. In December 2007, the Department of Statistics at UConn and the Global Research & Development of Pfizer Inc. signed a joint agreement to develop a Fellowship program. Under this agreement, Wangang will work for Pfizer 10 hours each week. This Fellowship program is effective for a one-year term during 2008 from January to December. |
